Adult Learning

If you are looking to brush up your existing skills, then perhaps a class lesson will help get you to that next ability level. Our class lessons are only $54.00 and last an hour for classes with one to two people, and a little over an hour for classes with three or more. Classes may exceed the scheduled time. Please report to lineup 10 minutes prior to your lesson time. If you would prefer a private lesson, reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 717.328.9400, ext. 3561.

First-Timer Discovery Lessons (Ages 8 and older)

On the hour from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm and also at 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm, Everyday

Upper-Level Lessons (Ages 8 and older)

10:00 am, noon, 2:00 pm,  5:30 pm and 7:00 pm, Everyday

Beginner Through Expert (Ages 4 through 7)

5:30 pm and 7:00 pm, Everyday

Private Lesson Rates

Please Note: The Private Lesson Desk in now located in the Whitetail Learning Center.
A $25 fee will be charged for no-shows for private lessons. 

Ski With Me

This semi-private lesson is designed to provide both parent and the child with quality time and specialized instruction. The instructor teaches the child to ski while teaching the parent how the child learns. Parent must be able to ski or snowboard to accompany the lesson. Child must be between 3 and 12 years of age. Form Your Own Group

Learn to ski or snowboard with your friends or family in a group of your own. This 1 1/2-hour lesson option is only $290.00! Groups can be no more than five and must be ages 8 and above. Price does not include lift ticket or rentals. All members in your lesson group should be at the same ability level.  Please contact the private lesson desk at extension 3561. 

Burton Learn To Ride

"Progression” is what makes Burton rental equipment superior to other rental snowboards first-timers might have tried. It is also a philosophy shared by the folks at Burton and the technicians at Whitetail. We strongly believe that a smooth start and easy path for progress is the best way to develop a first-timer into a true snowboarder. We are excited to prove it to you in the upcoming winter season! This package includes:

• Lift ticket that is valid on the Lift Off Quad, U-Me Double, First Class Magic Carpet, and the Launching Pad Magic Carpet lifts.
• Rental skis, boots, helmet and poles OR snowboard, boots and helmet rentals.
• A first-timer ski or snowboard class lesson for ages 8 and up in our Discovery Zone.
• By the end of this first lesson, you will be able to turn, control your speed, stop, and ride a lift.

This package includes:

• Lift ticket that is valid on the Lift Off Quad, U-Me Double, First Class Magic Carpet, Launching Pad Carpet, and Easy Rider lifts.
• Rental skis, boots, helmet and poles or snowboard and boot rentals. Plus Rental Helmet.
• A group lesson for ages 8 and up at your ability level.

This package includes:

• Lift ticket for all open trails.
• Rental skis, boots, helmet and poles or snowboard and boot rentals. Plus Rental Helmet.
• A group lesson for ages 8 and up at your ability level.

• Five consecutive week program for intermediate to advanced adult skiers, ages 18 and up.
• Coaching provided by Whitetail’s top PSIA Level III certified instructors.
• Two-hour clinic meets every Saturday and/or Sunday at 10:00 am
• Clinic cost is $499.00 for one day and $899 for both days. (Price does not include lift ticket or rental equipment.)
• Begins Saturday, January 5, 2019, and/or Sunday, January 6, 2019.

• Five consecutive week program for novice to advanced women skiers ages 18 and up.
• Learn new techniques from Whitetail’s best female instructors.
• The program meets every Saturday and/or Sunday at 10:00 am for two hours of fun on the snow.
• The 5-week clinic cost is $235.00 one day or $425.00 two days per week. (Price does not include lift ticket or rental equipment.)
• Begins Saturday, January 5th, 2019

Each participant Beginner through Advanced will be in a small group at their comfortable skiing level coached by PSIA Certified Whitetail Women Instructors. We will offer information on skiing skills and tactics in all types of terrain as well as help you reach your personal skiing goals.
