Summer Camps For Kids

 

At Whitetail Resort, it is our goal that every camper enjoys an experience that will last them a lifetime. Our camp mission is to provide the ideal outdoor environment and a unique opportunity for children to learn valuable skills and make new friends through programs that are challenging, educational, and fun. We strive to create a space for young people to learn how to work as a group while gaining confidence in their unique abilities as individuals. Everyone is encouraged to try all of the activities but we respect their comfort zone. Our staff is experienced and hand picked to provide the perfect balance of fun and safety. Many of our staff are acclaimed instructors in their field of expertise.

In addition to our Kid's Adventure Camp, this summer we are offering an Outdoor Skills Camp that is geared towards older, more advanced campers. See the sections below for full descriptions of each camp.

Kid's Adventure Camp ~ Ages 7-12

Camp Activities

Archery - Learn one of the oldest sports known to man in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
Kayaking - Learn basic skills, safety and how to control a kayak in this fun class on our 100 million gallon reservoir.
Fly Fishing - Learn everything from tying flies to basic casting and how to hook the big one!
Challenge Course - Challenge yourself by scaling various course objects in our new wilderness challenge course.
Digital Photography -Unravel the world of digital photography by creating your own digital masterpieces.
Junior Naturalist Hike - Experience all that Whitetail has to offer in this nature hike.

Camp Pricing

$275 per camper / $255 for each additional sibling
Your child will enjoy an action packed week that is focused on outdoor activities. All of our campers will have the opportunity to experience every activity as well as time to go back and enjoy their favorites at the end of the week.

All of Our Camps Include

5 Days Of Exciting Outdoor Fun - Enjoy a camp experience like no other in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
Lunch & Snacks - Campers will receive both a morning and afternoon snack along with a sensible mid-day lunch.
Water Bottle - Each camper will receive a water bottle to use all week and take home!
Camp T-Shirt - Campers will receive a camp t-shirt to commemorate their summer camp experience.
Parent's Day - On Friday parents invited to enjoy lunch and an afternoon’s worth of activities with their child.
Photo Album - All campers will receive a digital photo album on a CD the last day of camp.

 

 

Here is a Sample of our Daily Schedule

No two days at the Whitetail Adventure Camp are alike, but a typical day may look like this:
8:30 am - Camper Drop Off
9:00 am - Camp Begins
9:15 am - Fly Fishing
10:30 am - Kayaking
12:00 pm - Lunch
1:00 pm - Archery
2:30 pm - Art Project
3:30 pm - Afternoon Campfire & Smores
4:00 pm - Camper Pick Up.
