Peak Discovery Program

This new step by step lesson product from Peak Resorts is aimed at giving you the opportunity to “Learn, Practice, & Explore” when you want, where you want, at any Peak Resort in the Northeast.  Guests may choose which resort(s) they complete their program at, opting to complete the program at the same property or mixing up resort locations.  Please Note:  Discovery is for ages 13 and up.  

Example:  Take a Day 1 lesson at Whitetail Rseort then visit Liberty Mountain Resort for Day 2 and then even Mount Snow, VT for Day 3.  It doesn’t matter.

How Does It Work?

Our ski & snowboard instructors will teach everything you need to know, from putting on your boots, to using a chairlift, to the art of turning on snow.  All at your pace and at the resort(s) of your choosing!  The program is based on three visits to help you develop your on snow skills, and is structured as follows:

Day 1 Group – Intro to Skiing/Riding Lesson Package 

  • A resort specific first-timer lesson 
  • Equipment rental (skis, boots, & poles or boots & snowboard) including a helmet 
  • Beginner Area Lift Ticket ("Learn To" Package)
  • Access to lower mountain lifts & learning terrain only.
  • A Discover Card to use for completing your two future lesson visits to use at any resort, as well as to keep for special benefits you’ll receive upon completion of the program.    

Day 2 Group - Practice Lesson Package 

  • A resort specific next-step lesson 
  • Equipment rental (skis, boots, & poles or boots & snowboard) including a helmet 
  • Lower Mountain Lift Ticket (EZ Package)
  • Access to lower mountain lifts & learning terrain only.

Day 3 Group - Explore Lesson Package 

  • A resort specific skill & technique lesson focused on enhancing your experience and gearing you to start to explore the other areas of our resorts. 
  • Equipment rental (skis, boots, & poles or boots & snowboard) including a helmet 
  • Full Mountain Lift Ticket w/ access to all lifts & all terrain

Program Details:

The Discovery Program is subject to the following details:

  • Valid for ages 13+
  • This product is only valid at the Peak Resorts listed below.
  • Lift tickets for first visit includes Beginner Area access only.
  • Must redeem at ticket windows to receive lift ticket, rental, and lesson ticket. Each ticket/visit is limited to one use per day and is non-transferable.
  • Discovery Program Packages as a whole are also non-transferable.

Where Can I Purchase The Discovery Program And What Is The Cost?

The Discovery Program can be purchased both online by clicking the button below and directly at the resort. (Reminder - this program is for ages 13 and up.)

The pricing for 2019/20 Season is as follows:

  • $139 Online
  • $149 At The Resort

Program Graduation Special

Guests completing the 3-Step Discovery Learn to Program will have the opportunity to purchase a special GRAD PACK CARD that will include three additional visits with equipment rentals for an additional $99.  The Grad Pack Card will then be valid for the remainder of the 2019/20 ski season.
