To work at the resort you must be at least 16 years of age, unless you worked at the resort previously and have been asked to return, or you are applying for a job as a junior instructor.

After applying using the link below, make sure to attend our Job Fair on Saturday, December 10th, from 10 am until 12 noon.  There you will get a  personal interview!  All departments will be represented.  

Current Opportunities


Cashiers (Daytime Shifts):
This is a seasonal position from December through the end of our winter season.  Duties include selling and processing lift tickets, rentals, lessons and food to guests. Must be friendly, guest service oriented. Attention to detail is a must. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license, and dependable transportation. This position requires work on weekends and holidays. Must be a dependable team player with excellent people skills.

Provide guests with a clean environment through cleaning and maintenance of facilities, trash removal, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies. Dependability required. Evening shifts available.

Volunteer Mountain Hosts:
Join the NSAA award winning team and provide outstanding Guest Service, assisting guests in every aspect of the ski area experience. Friendly positive attitude a must. One of the most fulfilling

Lift Attendants:
Lift Attendants and Operators are responsible for the preparation of lifts before opening to the public, responsible for the safe and orderly operation of the lift during operating hours and properly closing the lift each night.  Lift Operators and Attendants are the most noticed employees at our resort and are in more direct contact with our guests than any other staff members.

 A friendly and courteous personality is a must.

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old to operate a chairlift.
  • Must successfully complete the Whitetail Lift Operations Training Course

Food & Beverage:

Floor Supervisor
This is a full time seasonal position.  Responsibilities include waiter/waitress management (including scheduling and section assignment) for proper guest service, timely food delivery, and side work assisments. Computer literacy is a must.  Previous floor supervisory experience a plus. This position reports to the Food Service Director. For consideration, please submit resume to tjones@skiwhitetail.com.

Food Service Associate
Assist in food preparation, serve food to guests, bus dining areas. Employees would assist in Marketplace, Solstice's Restaurant, Daybreak Cafe', Mountain Hearth Pizzeria, and Whitetail Adventure Snow Tubing.

Ski Patrollers:

Whitetail Resort is currently seeking Ski Patrollers.    This position is responsible for performing a variety of guest service and risk management functions such as incident handling, administering first aid, trail maintenance, promoting and creating a safe environment for guests and employees, Opening and Closing procedures, lift evacuation, search and rescue, and promoting and enforcing the skier’s responsibility code.  This position requires the following qualifications:

  • Current Outdoor Emergency Care Technician
  • Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer
  • Expert Level Skier/Snowboarder
  • Ability to work in inclement weather for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Commitment to Safe Work Habits
  • Outstanding Leadership and Communication skills
  • Team Oriented
  • Guest Service Focused
