15th Annual Great Outdoors Festival

October 24th & 25th, 2015

Help usher in the Fall Season by joining us for a weekend of family fun at our 16th Annual Great Outdoors Festival.  The festival will be held on October 22th & 23th, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm each day. 

RETURNING THIS YEAR! On Saturday, October 22nd and Sunday, October 23rd, we will be hosting the a Dock Dogs Event, featuring Chesapeake and Keystone clubs. 

On Saturday, October 22nd, we will host our 4rd Annual Car & Truck Show and our 2nd Annual Apple Pie Bake-Off

Our 4th Annual Whitetail Fall Downhill 5-K Trail Run will be held on Sunday, October 25th.

Both days, the ever so popular DockDogs comes to our festival.  Check out the high flying K-9 lineup HERE!

Live entertainment plus all of your festival favorites will return again this year.

Admission is complimentary for our guests that are renewing, purchasing, or picking up their 2015-16 Season Passes & Advantage Cards.  For non-passholders, admission rates are listed below:

  • Adults              $9.00
  • Seniors            $5.00
  • Kids 6-12        $5.00
  • Kids under 6  FREE

Saturday, October 24th from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm

Sunday, October 25th from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm

4th Annual Whitetail Fall Downhill 5-K Trail Run
October 25th, 2015


If you are an avid runner who prefers the technical challenge of a trail run, have we got an event for you. Our 4th Annual 5-K Trail Run will be held on Sunday, October 25th at the Outdoors Festival. PLEASE NOTE: Race registration closes promptly at 8:45 am to allow racers adequate time for chairlift ride to race start at top of mountain.  The race will then begin at the summit at 9:30 am with prizes being awarded to the top finishers. There are 2 ways you can register for this event: you can register via IMAthlete, or if you would prefer to register via mail, please download and complete our

Registration fees are as follows:
$30 now through August 31st
$35 if you register between September 1st through October 23rd
$40 if you register after Oct. 23rd or on the day of the race.

Race participants will receive a technical T-shirt and admission to the Outdoors Festival.
T-Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations received after October 18th!

Hello Strangers

We are pleased once again to bring you our very own - local grown, sister sounds of The Hello Strangers... taking center stage on Sunday at 12:30 pm. Performing 3 sets of "American folk traditions, modern indie rock, Texas country-folk, and roots rock, all tied together with lifting harmonies that only sisters can create". Watch here as they perform Never Roam Again:
