To work at the resort you must be at least 16 years of age, unless you worked at the resort previously and have been asked to return, or you are applying for a job as a junior instructor.

Lift Attendants:
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license. This is a seasonal position that is part-time from October through November, then increasing to full-time hours in December through the end of our winter season. We also have part time positions available. This position has flexible hours and some weekends and holidays are mandatory. Must be a dependable team player with excellent people skills. 

 

Night Time Manager On Duty:
Whitetail Resort is looking for a Night Time Manager on Duty for the upcoming winter season.  This position will require evening work from 4:00 PM until 11:00 PM at least 5 nights a week.  Extensive supervisory experience and prior knowledge of Whitetail Resort is required.

 

Guest Service:
This is a seasonal position that is part-time from October  through November, then increasing to full-time hours in December through the end of our winter season.  Duties include selling and processing our passes, selling lift tickets and reconciling the bank at the end of the shift. This position is also responsible for "Lost and Found" items, and must provide efficient, timely and friendly service to our guests and employees. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license, and dependable transportation. This position requires work on weekends and holidays. Must be a dependable team player with excellent people skills.

 

Information Operator:
This is a seasonal position that is part-time from October through November, then increasing to full-time hours in December through the end of our winter season.  Duties include answering guest inquiries regarding the resort, directing calls to the appropriate extensions, selling and processing Season passes, Advantage cards and Gift cards, and taking reservations for the Kid’s Mountain Camp programs. This position is also responsible for data entry and other clerical responsibilities and requires accuracy, resourcefulness and friendly service to our guests. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license, and dependable transportation. Must be a dependable team player with excellent people skills.

 

Night Time Food Service Supervisor:
This is a full time seasonal position.  Duties include managing a staff of 15-20 people, maintaining food production, guest satisfaction, and standards as set by the Food and Beverage Manager.  This position will also be responsible for the secure lock up of the food and beverage department as well as quality control checks for food and beverage outlets for proper closing procedures to include all food stored properly, all areas clean and sanitized, all floors swept and mopped, as well as securing all storage areas.  This position reports directly to the Food and Beverage Manager. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license, and dependable transportation. This position requires work on weekends and holidays, and some duties to assist other departments at the resort. Must be a dependable team player with excellent people skills.

 

Retail Shop Supervisor:
This is a seasonal position that is part-time from September  through November, then increasing to full-time hours in December through the end of our winter season.  Duties include supervising a staff of 12 people, maintaining guest satisfaction, and standards as set by the Retail Manager.  This position will also be responsible for receiving, pricing and merchandizing inventory.  Retail sales experience is preferred as is product knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment and softgoods.  Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license, and dependable transportation. This position requires work on weekends and holidays. Must be a dependable team player with excellent people skills.

 

Ski and Snowboard Technicians:
This is a seasonal position that is part-time beginning in November, then increasing to full-time hours in December through the end of our winter season. Weekends and holidays are mandatory. Must be dependable and a team player. Some experience in tuning, adjusting and repairing skis and snowboards is preferred. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

 

Custodial Maintenance Worker:
This is a seasonal position that is part-time from October through November, then increasing to full-time hours in December through the end of our winter season. Weekends and holidays are mandatory. Must be dependable, a team player, able to do some heavy lifting, and willing to learn to operate a variety of carpet and floor custodial machines. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license.
