To work at the resort you must be at least 16 years of age, unless you worked at the resort previously and have been asked to return, or you are applying for a job as a junior instructor.

We are now currently seeking applications for the positions of: 

Digital And Graphic Design Coordinator

Whitetail Resort is currently seeking self motivated, driven, and enthusiastic individual to join our marketing team.  Must thrive working as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in photography, video, and graphic design.  A strong knowledge of composition and color when it comes to outdoor and/or action sports photography is required. Candidate will be able to edit in Lightroom or Photoshop and produce quality polished images that will be used for social media, web, and print. Experience with run and gun style videography as well as editing in Premiere Pro is a must. Candidate will be expected to have a working knowledge of Indesign and Illustrator and be able to take a supporting role underneath our senior designer. Skiing or snowboarding experience is required. Must be willing to learn new programs based on the needs and growth of the marketing team. Ability to populate and maintain an organized file structure for all projects and shoots. Comfortable in coordinating and assisting in winter events such as park competitions or races. Is ready to play hard and work harder. Looking to share fresh ideas to improve the marketing team and Whitetail Resort. This is full time year round position with benefits. 

Required skills:

- Adobe programs: Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Indesign, Illustrator

- DSLR photo and video

- Skiing or Snowboarding

Other requirements:

- Loves Sunrises over a fresh snowfall

- Skips breakfast to get first tracks

Fan Gun Technician

Whitetail Resort’s Snowmaking Department is looking for a Fan Gun Tech to be a key member of the Mountain Operations Team.  The right candidate for this position is not afraid of heights, cold weather, and long hours.    Must be willing to work weekends & holidays through the winter months, some electrical knowledge a plus along with a willingness to learn are a must for this position.  This is a full time, year round position.  Please send resumes to tjones@skiwhitetail.com or apply at www.skiwhitetail.com

 

Lift Mechanic

Whitetail Resort’s Lift Maintenance Department is looking for a Lift Mechanic to be a key member of the Mountain Operations Team.  The right candidate for this position is not afraid of heights, cold weather, and long hours.  Responsible for the safety and recreational experience of our guests and staff.  A strong all-around mechanical background and some electrical knowledge a plus along with a willingness to learn are a must for this position.  This is a full time, year round position, and working weekends in the winter is required.

Kid's Adventure Camp Councilors 

Whitetail Summer Camps is now hiring for Kid's Adventure Camp Councilors.  The Counselor is responsible for the teaching, coordinating, and safety of all activities and guiding campers in their personal growth through adventure activities including:  Kayaking, Shooting Sports, Fishing, Wilderness Survival, and Group Initiatives.  For a full position description and to apply, please visit our Summer Camp's Employment page HERE.

 

Ski/Board Shop Representative

We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing person who likes to ski or board, is organized and enjoys driving, especially in the DC/Baltimore area. The Shop Representative will visit ski and board shops and actively promote Liberty Mountain, Ski Roundtop and Whitetail Mountain.  This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the shop program; including shop visitations, ski shop and inner resort communications, database management and other assigned duties.  This is a part-time seasonal position, September through March and an average of 30 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Prior employment with Liberty Mountain, Ski Roundtop or Whitetail Mountain is not required; however, knowledge of the areas is advantageous.   

Compensation:   Hourly pay and skiing and boarding privileges at each resort. Use of company vehicle for shop visitations.  The shop rep should be able to lift appx. 25-30 lbs.

Guest Services Supervisor

Whitetail Resort is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic person to assume the role of Manager of our Guest Services department.  The Guest Services Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Guest Services Department.   In addition this position requires outstanding management/supervisory skills, computer literacy and excellent communication and guest service skills The Manager must be able to resolve concerns quickly and responsibly resulting in a positive experience for the internal and external guest..  Competitive pay DOE. Starting August 2016.

Mountain Host Supervisor

Whitetail Resort is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic person to assume the role of Mountain Host supervisor.  The Mtn Host supervisor is responsible for hiring and training volunteers who can serve as public relations and hospitality representatives for Whitetail resort.  The supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the Host department, making sure the Hosts have everything they need to be successful. The supervisor and the Hosts are highly visible to our guests. Working with a high level of teamwork, enthusiasm and professionalism is a necessity.  Competitive pay DOE.
