To work at the resort you must be at least 16 years of age unless you worked at the resort previously and have been asked to return, or you are applying for a job as a junior instructor.

Full Time Security Officer

The Security team is looking to hire an officer for 3rd shift for the upcoming winter season.  Responsibilities include performing patrols on foot or in vehicle, investigate and prepare reports on accidents/incidents, and monitoring access to resort after hours.  Security staff is expected to provide a high level of guest service and assistance to all visitors in a courteous and professional manner.  Must be willing to work weekends/holidays as needed.  This is a full-time seasonal position beginning immediately.  Please apply online at www.skiwhitetail.com or send resumes to tjones@skiwhitetail.com

Mountain Ambassador

We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic individuals to gather email addresses from our guest. Our guests will be asked to participate in our Net Promoter online survey.

Nighttime Custodial Supervisor

Immediate hire for the Custodial department must be able to work weekends and holidays, be 18 years of age with reliable transportation, and willing to work in a team environment.  This is a seasonal position starting part time and developing into a full-time position when we open for the season.  If interested contact Tammy Jones @Tammy Jones (tjones@skiwhitetail.com) or call 717-328-9400 and ask for Tammy.

Snowmaking Controller: Night Shift


Whitetail snowmaking department is looking to hire 2 full-time night shift controller positions.  The candidate must be able to operate a computer control system that controls snowmaking guns and regulates air and water pressure for the snowmaking systems. Must be able to Maintain snowmaking logs as well as be able to communicate with snowmaking staff via radio.  The candidate must have the ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to high winds, heavy snowfall, fog, rain, and very cold or warm temperatures. 


  • Must be 18 years old

  • Have basic knowledge of computers
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Sous Chef

Whitetail Resort is seeking a Sous Chef for the 2018-2019 ski, board, and tubing season.  Responsibilities include: production of fast-paced resort eatery, directing staff for prep for the day and week ahead, working multiple stations through-out the day as business dictates, sanitation of all kitchen areas, placing food and supply orders, receiving food and supply orders, input in scheduling, preparing banquet food and directing the flow of the banquet, and other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director.  You must be available to work in a very fast paced environment with good people skills.  You must be willing to work any shift and at least 6 shifts per week.  Opening and closing shifts as assigned.  Serv-safe is a plus.  Please submit your resume to tjones@skiwhitetail.com for consideration.


Lift Attendants

Lift Attendants and Operators are responsible for the preparation of lifts before opening to the public, responsible for the safe and orderly operation of the lift during operating hours and properly closing the lift each night.  Lift Operators and Attendants are the most noticed employees at our resort and are in more direct contact with our guests than any other staff members.

 A friendly and courteous personality is a must.

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old to operate a chairlift.

Must successfully complete the Whitetail Lift Operations Training Course
